I have never had a boring job.

I have had dirty ones, loud ones, thankless ones, and a few that were probably illegal in ways I did not fully understand at the time. I have cleaned coffee roasters from the inside, carried other people's dirty sheets down hotel stairwells, and once rode to work in a car with a three foot bong and Black Sabbath on the stereo.

Every job taught me something. That is not a motivational poster sentiment, it is just what I found to be true. I grew up in Virginia Beach, bounced around the country a little, and worked my way through school doing whatever was available. These are some of those stories.
