I earned a BS in Philosophy with a minor in Physics, followed by an MS in Physics, both from Old Dominion University. I went on to pursue a PhD in Nuclear Physics at ODU, serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and conducting research as a Research Assistant at Jefferson Lab in Newport News, Virginia. As a doctoral candidate, I completed my thesis experiment in Experimental Nuclear Physics, though the dissertation itself remains unfinished.

I look back on that chapter of my life with deep appreciation. The professors and research advisors I worked alongside were remarkable, and the experience as a whole stands as one of the most meaningful of my life.
